Andrew Barnard is co-founder of Bitstop, Florida’s oldest and largest Bitcoin ATM Operator. He is responsible for overseeing operations and growing Bitstop Bitcoin sales volume into seven figures within its first year of operation. Andrew was also responsible for obtaining the first FT2 Money Transmitter License for a Bitcoin business in Florida. He first got interested in Bitcoin in 2013 after hearing about it through a friend. He co-founded the Miami Bitcoin Meet-up and the successful Miami Bitcoin Hackathon, which has brought out some of the most talented Bitcoin developers and Bitcoin core protocol developers and judges three years in a row.
Prior to co-founding Bitstop, Andrew has co-founded several successful start-ups in the insurance industry which all have grown to produce several million in revenues annually. He also attended law school at Nova Shepard Broad Law School.
