Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)

Chris is a Supervisory Special Agent assigned to HSI’s human trafficking investigative program in Washington DC. The Human Trafficking Unit (HTU) overseas and supports HSI’s anti-trafficking mission to identify, disrupt and dismantle human trafficking organizations, through a victim-centered approach. Prior to his assignment at HSI Headquarters, Chris supervised the Counter-Proliferations Investigations mission for HSI in Seattle, where he managed national security related investigations involving efforts by hostile foreign countries and transnational criminal organizations to illegally obtain sensitive technology and arms. Before that, he was assigned to a Border Enforcement Security Task Force, a multi-agency team developed to disrupt and dismantle transnational criminal organizations posing significant threats to seaport and border security.  Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Political Science and Law Societies and Justice from the University of Washington. Prior to his employment with Homeland Security, he served on active duty in the United States Air Force.
